The term The Present Room or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as using or purchasing from www.thepresentroom.co.uk website means you agree to them.

 

Ordering from us:

 

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. We will send you an order acknowledgement by email, detailing the products you have ordered.

 

You can buy products from us online using your credit or debit card . Our payment service provider WorldPay, provides a secure purchasing environment online and handles all credit and debit card payments. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Solo, Electron, Delta, American Express or PayPal.

 

We do not store any credit card or personal details on line.

 

Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

 

We may refuse to accept an order:

 

(a) Where goods are not available
(b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment
(c) If there has been a pricing or product description error
(d) If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions
(e) If the order is to be delivered outside of the United Kingdom.

 

Delivery Information:

 

We aim to deliver your order to the address indicated by you quickly and efficiently.


Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched on the same day via First Class Royal Mail or Parcelforce, subject to stock availability and security checks.


If there is likely to be a delay we will let you know by email, you will then be able to decide if you are happy with this, or if you would like a refund.

Special Delivery:

 

Next Day (by 1pm)                           £8.25

 

Next Day (by 9am)                           £14.25

 

Saturday Delivery                            £10.45

 

Orders requesting Special Delivery and placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, subject to stock availability. As a signature will be required, please make sure someone is available to receive the goods.


Any delivery times quoted are estimates, based on availability and normal delivery time.


Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm. We only process and dispatch orders during these timescales. All delivery and dispatch timescales quoted on the website do not include weekends.

 

Returns and Refunds:

 

If you receive goods from us that do not meet your expectations for whatever reason, you can return them to us in an unused condition and with the original packaging within 10 days for a refund or exchange.

 

To request a return, please email us at info@thepresentroom.co.uk. Please state your order number and/or name and address and the reason for the return and we will advise you where to return your goods.

 

Please include your name and address and order number in your parcel so that we have all the information necessary to process your return quickly. We recommend you either obtain a free 'Certificate of Posting' from the Post Office, or send your goods by Recorded Delivery. Please ensure you wrap your parcel up carefully to prevent damage on the return journey. The goods will remain your responsibility until it has been signed for at the returns address. We cannot accept responsibility for returns lost or damaged in the post.

 

Please remember:

 

The cost of the return is your responsibility. The goods must be returned to us unused and in the original condition for a refund. If unwanted goods are not in the original condition then we cannot provide a refund.

 

We will normally process your refund to your credit/debit card or PayPal account within 30 working days, or will despatch to you an alternative where agreed.

 

Delivery charges, return postage and gift wrapping charges are non refundable unless the goods are faulty.

 

Pricing and Availability:

 

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.

 

Prices are subject to change without notice and all goods are sold subject to availability. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Colours may vary slightly from those shown on the website due to the limitations of Internet technology. Orders are accepted at our sole discretion and we maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation.

 

Stock Availability:

 

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all items on the website are always in stock. If you place an order for an item which is currently out of stock and the stock is not due in for more than a week, we will contact you to ensure you are aware of this and will discuss an anticipated delivery date with you via email.

 

Privacy Policy

 

The personal details that you do supply are for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order and we guarantee that we will not pass on any information given to us by our customers to other organisations. We are required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 to follow tight security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information provided to us by our customers.
